Joana Jorge de Queiroz Leite
Joana Leite holds a PhD in Applied Mathematics, specialization in Statistics, from the University of Coimbra. She is an Adjunct Professor at Coimbra Business School | ISCAC – IPC, where she lectures Mathematics, Statistics and Time Series in undergraduate and master degree programs and integrates the scientific committees of Data Science and Analytics courses. Her published works are in time series analysis and control charts for time series, recently extending to econometric applications. Regularly collaborates with peer review of articles at scientific meetings and journals. Her research interests are now in sequential data prediction, especially, time series forecasting, with both statistical and machine learning models, and its computational implementation.
