Ryunosuke Kikuchi
He has been a full professor of Ryukoku University since 2010. He was an associate professor at Coimbra College of Agriculture in Portugal where he gave the following lectures from 1999 to 2010: Physic-chemical Treatments, Treatments of Effluent I, Industrial Waste Management, Cost Engineering of Processes, Atmospheric Pollution, Energy and Environment, Solid Waste Treatments, Technical Design, Electro-mechanic Equipments, Gas Effluents and Process Treatments, Environmental Pollution, Energy Valorization of Waste, Ecotoxicology and Organic Chemistry (Laboratory Experiments). The 2008 National Prize of Environmental Innovation was awarded for his work “One-process gasification/smelting unit for production of energy from mixed waste” in Lisbon. He was a researcher at Limnology and Environmental Protection Department of Helsinki University in Finland from 1997 to 1999.
He performed the duties of assistant coordinator at the Environment Ministry in Bulgaria from 1995 to 1997.
Various research works have made progresses during his activity in countries such as Portugal, Japan, South Africa, Angola, Czech, Finland, East-Timor, Norway, Russia, Slovenia, etc.
He has bee a member of CERNAS since 2001.
