He completed his PhD in Economics (2007) at the University of Coimbra (Portugal) and his Habilitation in Agronomic and Forestry Sciences (2017) at the University of Trás-os-Montes and Alto Douro (Portugal). He is Coordinator Professor with Habilitation at the Polytechnic Institute of Viseu (Portugal) and Researcher at CERNAS-IPV (Management Unit of the CERNAS, Centre for Natural Resources, Environment and Society, Research Centre at the Polytechnic Institute of Viseu). He has published several articles in specialised publications and participates in various national and international projects.
