João Pedro Marques Lima
João Lima is Adjunct Professor at the Polytechnic Institute of Coimbra, Escola Superior de Tecnologia da Saúde de Coimbra. He was Integrated Researcher at GreenUPorto - Sustainable Agrifood Production Research Centre between 2017 and 2023 and from 2024 Integrated researcher in Research Unit Centro de Investigação em Saúde e Tecnologia. Nutritionist, since 2012, from the University of Porto. In 2017, he completed his PhD in Food Consumption and Nutrition Sciences from the same institution. He is nutritionist specialist in Community Nutrition and Public Health, certified by Ordem dos Nutricionistas (Nutritionist Council). He works in the area of Health Sciences with an emphasis on Nutrition and Dietetics and Public Health with main interests in the areas of Nutrition and Public Health, Communication in Nutrition and Health Promotion through Food Service. He has published over 20 articles in specialized and indexed journals, 2 books and 5 book chapters. He has published more than 100 abstracts/short articles in journals or conference proceedings. He co-supervises three PhD thesis (in progress), supervised/co-supervised 7 master's theses (completed) and more than 50 leading to a bachelor's degree.
