Maria Manuel Balseiro Vidal
Ph.D. in Chemistry from the University of Aveiro, in collaboration with the University of Coimbra and the Autonomous University of Barcelona; Master's degree from the Autonomous University of Barcelona, equivalent to the Master's degree in Natural Products and Food Chemistry from the University of Aveiro. Bachelor's degree in Chemistry from the Faculty of Science and Technology at the University of Coimbra. She began her professional career as a research fellow and has been a faculty member at ESAC since December 1999. She has maintained collaborations as a researcher with the University of Aveiro and Biocant - Technology Transfer Association in Cantanhede. She participates in projects funded by external entities, is co-author of 18 ISI articles with an h-index of 12 and 530 citations, and serves as a reviewer for ISI articles as well as for 30 communications (both oral and poster presentations). Additionally, she has participated in supervision and examination of undergraduate and master's theses, as well as one doctoral dissertation. Currently, she collaborates on rural development projects, contributing her expertise in Analytical Chemistry through the application of techniques such as PCR and chromatography.
