Maria Teresa Cruz Móia Cernadas. completed the Integrated Master's Degree in Chemical Engineering in 2017 by University of Coimbra. Currently, attends the PhD in Chemical Engineering by University of Coimbra, entitled " Development of bioactive photocrosslinkable adhesives, since 2019, with a grant funded by the Foundation for Science and Technology. Published 6 articles in peer-reviewed journals. Organized 3 events and participated in 4 others. Teresa have participated in several seminars and courses, mainly in polymer science areas, from health to polymer characterization. Participates and/or participated as Research Fellow in 2 projects and Researcher in 1 project. Works in the area of Engineering and Technology with emphasis on Chemical Engineering, Chemical Process Engineering, Materials Engineering; and Medical and Health Sciences with emphasis on Biomaterials. The projects developed so far have included: synthesis and characterization of UV-curable bioadhesives, non-invasive ocular insert for drug delivery and Zwitterionic-based amphiphile coated Graphene Oxide nanostructures for chemophotothermal therapy of breast cancer. Teresa has also contributed in the orientation of MSc thesis, within the scope of the projects in which she participated.
